Positive Signs and Persistent Inflation

Core Inflation Remains Elevated

However, the report also highlighted that core inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, remained elevated at 0.2%, matching the October reading. This suggests that inflationary pressures are still persistent in the economy, despite the overall slowdown in headline inflation.
