WEB EET Fuels, the trading name of Essar Oil UK, has acquired the Stanlow refinery in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
The company plans to invest up to £3 billion in the site to transform it into a major hydrogen production hub.
Phase One: Two Hydrogen Plants
- Two initial hydrogen plants will be built at the Stanlow refinery.
- EET Hydrogen Power will operate the plants by 2027.
